thread stuck in device driver catalyst control center

On my laptop I have two display adapters: Intel HD Graphics 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 8570M. When I lookīack in Device Manager I get the following error code: 'Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. And AMD Catalyst Control Center warns me that my AMD video card is not properly installed. However I have again the problem that I can't use my second monitor which is attached to my laptop via VGA. Now I am writing this post from my Windows 10. Windows figure out what driver to update it to. But since I didn't have a newer driver close by (only the original one from my Lenovo laptop) I just clicked the update driver option from Device Manager and let There I took your advice regarding the graphic card driver.

In the end I went ahead and tried a couple of safemodes (first with low resolution video - this didn't work as I kept getting the same problem I reported in my first post). I first tried to do a refresh of the system but that didn't work (the process started but then immediately I got an error). I have booted with the dvd from which I have initially installed the Windows 10 Technical Preview. Suggest what to do? Should I reinstall Windows 10 or is there something that can be done? However, pressing the above mentioned combination has no effect. I tried pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL in the hope of getting my way to the TaskManager in order to try to jump start explorer.exe. Right now I can no longer use Windows 10. If I click the mouse buttons the mouse briefly shows and I can even move it but quickly disappears. This goes into a loop that lasts forever. After the restart Windows gets stuck with a black screen that keeps flashing once in a while (as if some detection of graphic card isĭone). However, after I installed back my original drivers I had to do a restart (the AMD driver installation asked me to do it).
